How to calculate aspect ratio when resizing images
Aspect ratio is the proportional relationship between an image's width and its height. Whenever you scale a screenshot, mockup or icon, keeping that ratio constant is what prevents stretching and squashing: if you change the width, the height has to change by the same factor. This calculator does that for you β enter the original width and height, add the new width, and it returns the exact height that preserves the ratio, plus the raw ratio value (width Γ· height) so you can sanity-check the result.
This matters a lot for App Store creative, where each device family expects a specific pixel size. A 1290 Γ 2796 iPhone 6.9" screenshot and a 1242 Γ 2688 6.5" screenshot are close but not identical, so resizing by hand invites subtle distortion. Lock the aspect ratio first, then let Reverze rebuild and export your screenshots at every required device size automatically β no manual scaling, no stretched frames.
